I used to think that selfie-taking was superficial and immature. Most articles I’ve read on the subject have touted as much.
And then I met Allyee.
In my last post, I talked about how I’m finding and practicing radical self-love through posting nude photos on the internet. And recently, I had an amazing conversation with the bad ass babe that inspired me to begin this journey.
In this episode of the Sexually Liberated Woman podcast, I talk to Allyee about. . .
/ How and why she started taking nude selfies and posting them on the internet (spoiler: “Fake it ’til you make it”).
/ The ways her selfie-taking is a political,聽feminist act and radically self-loving.
/ The way nude selfies have drastically changed her life鈥攆or better (“It’s changed me as a person for the better!”) and for worse (“I lost my job, dating has been impossible…”).
/ Allyee’s tips on how you can start taking nude selfies of your own to discover yourself as a sexual being.
“Taking my power back into my own hands and writing my own sexual narrative has been one of the most powerful, empowering things I’ve ever done for myself.”
We talked about so many things and honestly this brief peek at our conversation doesn’t do it justice. I love that I was able to get fiery with Allyee about intersectional feminism, sexual liberation, and shameless sexual space-taking. I also really loved what she had to say about men taking naked selfies.

Want to learn how to take sexy selfies as a form of radical self-love and sexual acceptance?
Last we spoke, I told you about a workshop I was thinking of creating that would teach you how to take sexy selfies as a gesture of radical self-love and sexual acceptance.
The way I was seeing it in my head was that in edition to me guiding you through the workshop with lessons that would help you turn the camera on yourself, there would also be a designated safe space where you could share your sexy selfies with other women taking the class, fostering a close-knit sex positive community.
Anyway, I asked you if this would be something you鈥檇 be interested in, and the response I got from all of you has been incredible! I鈥檝e heard a resounding Yes! across the board, and some of you are even wanting to get started now.
I鈥檓 so excited that this workshop sounds good to you, and I鈥檓 happy to announce that it鈥檚 happening! I鈥檓 currently in the process of making this workshop a reality, and I鈥檝e already got a lesson-plan worked out.
If you were one of the people that said, HELL YES! to this idea, I invite you to sign up to the VIP list.
Everyone on this list will get access to the workshop before anyone else, and we鈥檒l also start building that sex positive community now.
Put your email below to get on the VIP list!
I can’t wait to see your name on the list, and I’m so excited about creating this workshop for you!
